SURABAYA – Polda Jawa Timur berhasil mengungkap kasus kejahatan 3C yakni pencurian dengan pemberatan (curat), pencurian dengan kekerasan (curas), dan pencurian kendaraan bermotor (curanmor) di sejumlah wilayah Jawa Timur.

Kapolda Jawa Timur Irjen Pol. Drs. Nanang Avianto, M.Si., menegaskan pengungkapan kasus ini merupakan bentuk komitmen kepolisian dalam memberikan rasa aman sekaligus menghadirkan keadilan bagi masyarakat.

“Keberhasilan pengungkapan kasus 3C ini menjadi bukti keseriusan Polda Jawa Timur dan jajaran dalam memberantas tindak kriminalitas,” tegas Irjen Pol Nanang Avianto saat konferensi pers di Gedung Mahameru Polda Jatim, Selasa (2/5/26).

Dalam pengungkapan kasus tindak kejahatan tersebut, Polisi juga mengembalikan kendaraan milik korban pencurian dan pembegalan tanpa dipungut biaya.

“Kami tidak hanya menangkap pelaku, tetapi juga berupaya mengembalikan hak masyarakat yang menjadi korban kejahatan,” kata Irjen Nanang.

Kapolda Jatim menambahkan, pihaknya akan terus meningkatkan upaya pemberantasan kejahatan jalanan, khususnya kasus 3C yang meresahkan masyarakat.

“Kami mengimbau masyarakat untuk tidak ragu melapor apabila menjadi korban tindak pidana. Kepolisian akan terus bekerja maksimal dalam menjaga keamanan dan ketertiban di wilayah Jawa Timur,” pungkas Irjen Nanang.

Sementara itu, salah satu korban asal Ngepring, Nongkojajar, Kabupaten Pasuruan, mengaku bersyukur motornya berhasil ditemukan Polisi.

Motor Honda Beat merah tahun 2024 miliknya hilang saat diparkir di kandang sapi ketika dirinya bekerja.

Ia mengatakan melapor kepada pihak kepolisian pada bulan Maret 2026 yang lalu.

Setelah beberapa bulan menunggu, ia mendapat kabar dari Polsek setempat bahwa motornya berhasil ditemukan pada Juni 2026.

“Terima kasih banyak kepada pihak kepolisian yang sudah berhasil mengungkap kasus pencurian ini dan mengembalikan motor saya tanpa ada biaya,” ujarnya penuh senyum.

Korban lainnya adalag warga Taman Puspa Sarirogo, Sidoarjo, juga menerima kembali motor Honda Scoopy hijau tahun 2023 miliknya yang sempat dibegal.

Ia menjadi korban pembegalan saat hendak berlibur menuju kawasan Bukit Premium, Pasuruan.

Usai kejadian, ia melapor ke Polsek Nongkojajar pada 2 Mei 3026 dan hanya berselang dua hari, tepatnya 4 Mei 2026, Polisi berhasil menemukan kendaraan tersebut.

Namun, motor baru diserahkan pada Juni 2026 lantaran masih dibutuhkan dalam proses hukum.

Ia menyampaikan apresiasi kepada jajaran Polda Jatim yang berhasil mengungkap kasus dan menangkap pelaku pembegalan yang dialaminya.
